- Defective Temperature Control Board: This board controls the power to the compressor and fans. While it's not a common failure, if all other parts check out, it could be the cause. Replace it only after ruling out more common issues.
- Bad Thermistor: The thermistor monitors fridge temperature and sends readings to the control board. If the resistance doesn’t change with temperature or if it loses continuity, it can cause cooling issues. Test with a multimeter and replace if needed.
